Here comes the blog...

Everyone refers to your wedding as your "big" day; now I can understand why. Standards are elevated, emotions heightened and everything is just bigger and better than normal!

Rain made for an eventful morning with a flooded marquee. Luckily it didn't faze me; I think I was probably in la..la land enjoying everyone working around me! Our wedding was at the beautiful St David's Memorial Church in Cave. My intention was to be on time, turns out I was about a minute late for every year my man made me wait. Twelve to be exact!

We had a marquee reception at Mum and Dad's where I grew up. Our theme was sunflowers, Mum and Aunt Ral had grown many in their gardens in preparation. We had a fabulous large green wall at the back of the marquee and sunflower balls on the table.

To me the day was perfect (corny I know). They say it goes too fast and yes it definitely did. I don't think I had a proper conversation with anyone but to have all your best friends and family in one place, it's pretty awesome. If only we could do it more often!
